The real first MMO i played besides Diablo, was Planetside.
Although it is more a multiplayer FPS :p
After that, I have played WoW from day one, and still playing btw. In that time period, I've seen 3 different guilds.
The first one was a belgian only guild which consisted of close friends.
Although we didn't do dungeons because most left when they reached 60 i liked that period the most. Probably because we were all good friends.
After that i went to a more hardcore guild where i raided MC, BWL, AQ40 and Naxx. I learned alot there about raid mechanics and such. When TBC came out, I thought id seen it all and quit WoW for a while.
My second MMO experience comes from LOTRO, which i played for like 4 months in total. I helped starting a guild there, but because I was the only one trying to organise it and i lacked too much time to do it all, I had to stop it during my exams.
After that i started to miss my WoW friends, so i returned to my first love :p
After that I tried Age of Conan, but this turned out to be huge fail
